This is a free, online 1-hr eSafety presentation suitable for individuals working with young people to better understand online safety issues and their impacts. 

This presentation is designed to:
•    explore the current technology trends and issues for young people
•    examine the online environment and safe online interactions with young people
•    help manage risks and support young people in a youth work environment
•    highlight eSafety resources for youth leaders.

Meet the trainer 

Greg Gebhart, Senior Education Trainer 

Greg Gebhart is one of Australia’s leading online safety presenters. Greg has provided presentations to more than 800,000 participants at state, national and international events. He has a strong background in leadership and change and has held senior positions including Regional Manager for the Victorian Industry and Education Partnerships program and Chair of his Regional Adult Education Board. 

Greg has been recognised for his achievements and passion for helping others, receiving a global achievement award through the International Society for Technology in Education.

Who is this training for?
This training is suitable for individuals who work with young people in any capacity to learn about the latest research into online safety, technology, and benefits and risks of social media. The training includes case studies and targeted advice for helping young people to have safe, enjoyable online experiences. The presentation is not suitable for those under the age of 18.

How big will the webinar be? 
eSafety requires at least 30 attendees for this session to go ahead. Participants are asked to register individually to attend.  

Will the webinar be recorded?
The eSafety Commissioner does not record or provide copies of the slides due to the distribution rights of the images purchased for this webinar. eSafety do not share the slides as the information is constantly changing and must be updated accordingly. Participants are not permitted to record eSafety webinars.

What technology do I use?
To ensure a smooth training experience, please consider the following:

•    Ensure participants register individually so they can participate on a PC/laptop.
