Preparing for Social Media Legislation
Join the Youth Network of Tasmania (YNOT) and the Australian Youth Affairs Coalition (AYAC) for a free online workshop examining the upcoming social media legislation affecting young people under 16. This 1.5-hour session is for workers to better understand the implications for youth work practice, it's impacts on young people, and ways the sector can adapt and continue to support the young people we work with.
Together, we’ll unpack key information and resources available, learn about the concerns raised by young people, and take part in an interactive discussion to identify challenges facing our organisations and services. The session will focus on exploring practical solutions to help the sector respond to these changes and maintain effective communication and support for young people.
When: Monday 8 December, 2-3:30PM
Where: Online
Cost: Free
