Applications are now open for the Youth Week event of 2024!

Battle it out and perform to a live audience at the Kingborough Community Hub during Youth Week Tasmania!
The theme is 'Our Community. Our Voice' - so get your band or duo together and share your unique voices through music.

Bands, duos, digital, electronic artists are all encouraged to apply for ‘Battle of the Bands: Our Voice.’

Held at the Kingborough Community Hub on Friday 12 April, this event presents the chance to battle it out and perform to a live audience for the chance to win a full day recording experience at Future State Studios!

Open to ages 12 – 25, this is a chance to shine, connect, and share unique voices through music.

Jam sessions at the Hub:

In the lead up to the event, we are holding 3 ‘jam sessions’ at the Hub.  Come along and practise your music, meet other musicians or join a band!  Equipment provided or bring your own.
