MYT Youth Advisory Group

The Multicultural Youth Tasmania (MYT) Youth Advisory Group (YAG) brings together passionate young advocates to support positive change in the lives of refugee and migrant young people across Tasmania. The group is comprised of members from a diversity of faith, gender, age, linguistic, ethnicity, migration, life and educational experiences. MYT is a partner organisation of the Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network of Australia (MYAN).

Premier's Youth Advisory Council (PYAC)

The PYAC provides advice to the Tasmanian Government on issues of importance to them as young Tasmanians. There are 24 membership places and members are appointed for a two year term. Members range in age from 12-25 and come from all over Tasmania. Meeting are co-chaired by the Minister for Children and Youth and a rotating youth member.
