Have your say at the Energy Youth Forum!

The Energy Youth Forum is an opportunity for young people from across Tasmania to share their experiences, views and ideas about energy use at home.

During the forum, you’ll take part in activities and small group discussions about things like using electricity at home, understanding bills and costs, staying safe, finding information and support, and dealing with energy companies.

You don’t need to be an energy expert to take part. We’re interested in your everyday experiences, what works well, what can be difficult, and what you think could be better.

What young people tell us during the forum will help Aurora Energy and TasNetworks better understand the needs and experiences of young Tasmanians and improve their services, programs and communications for young people.

What to expect

The forum will be a casual, interactive three-hour workshop. You will:

• take part in activities and small group discussions
• share your views, experiences and ideas about energy use at home
• hear from other young people and learn about their experiences
• talk about what could make energy information, support and services work better for young people
• learn a little more about energy use, bills and where to find information and support.

There are no right or wrong answers, and you don’t need to prepare anything beforehand. We want to hear from young people with a wide range of experiences and perspectives.

As a thank you for your time and contributions, you’ll receive a $100 e-gift voucher for taking part.

Places are limited. Register here.
