This is your chance to meet other young people from across the North, talk about the issues that matter most to you, and work together to create practical, place-based solutions for your communities. 

What you can expect on the day: 

• Fun, interactive workshops and activities 

• Youth-led discussions on topics you care about 

• Meet new and like-minded young people and help drive positive change for your community 

• Emcees Taz and Em from Futures Isle keeping things lively throughout the day 

• Free lunch and snacks! 
   

Who can come? 

Young people aged 12–25 from across the North region.  

Schools, youth groups, and community organisations are welcome to bring groups.

About TYF 
 
The Tasmanian Youth Forum (TYF), hosted by the Youth Network of Tasmania is a free, youth event for young people aged 12-25. TYF brings young people together from across Tasmania to share their views and ideas on topics important to them, with the aim of improving outcomes for young people and communities. 

This year, YNOT has decided to take a different approach by running a series of smaller TYF events across Tasmania, rather than one large event, following feedback from young people.  

This new approach is all about making it easier for young people in regional and remote areas to get involved, dive deeper into the local issues that matter most, and come up with place-based solutions that work for their communities. 

A similar event will be held in the South of the state in mid 2026. Dates to be announced soon.  

Want to get more involved? 
Young people are running activities, helping with group discussions, and even presenting. If you’re creative, we also need photographers, videographers, and designers! 

Join as a participant or help run the day – get in touch if you’d like to get involved!
