The Youth Network of Tasmania (YNOT) is the peak body for young people aged 12-25 years and the non government youth sector in Tasmania.

Our vision is a Tasmania where young people are valued and can achieve anything.

Established in 1994, our purpose is to drive positive change with young people and the youth sector in Tasmania.

As an independent not for profit organisation YNOT provides:

The theme of Youth Week Tasmania 2024 is "Community Connection: Our Community. Our Voice."

This year's theme was chosen by young Tasmanians to acknowledge their important place in Tasmanian communities.

It reflects the aims of Youth Week Tasmania - to celebrate the invaluable contributions that young Tasmanians aged 12-25 years make in their communities and to showcase their extraordinary talent and skills. It also asserts the importance of young voices.

The Youth Network of Tasmania (YNOT) has been engaged by the Sorell Council and Tasmanian Community Fund to undertake an extensive consultation of young people 12-19 years and community in the South-East. The consultation will inform the development of a project that aims to improve youth participation by helping young people feel supported, connected and engaged in their local communities.
